Pass percentage drops below 50

Pune: The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has recently announced the results of GCC Typing Examination held in August 2017.

The results are available on the council’s website www.mscepune.in.

In the category of typing 30 words per minute, 41.65 per cent out of 50,064 candidates cleared the examination. In the category of typing 40 words per minute, in three languages, Marathi, Hindi and English - 3,633 (46 per cent) out of 7,897 students cleared the examination.

While the certificates and mark sheets of the students are available at their respective typing institutes, for the re-evaluation process, they are required to apply and pay the fees online through Bank of India (BOI) challan by October 25.

Speaking about the result, Sukhdev Dere, Commissioner, MSCE, said that as these are skill-based examinations, it is not possible to give the exact reason behind the drop in the pass percentage below 50.
