Pune: The Pune region of Department of Posts has organised district-level Philately exhibition at Balgandharva Art Gallery on Saturday. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ganesh Sawaleshwarkar, Post Master General, Pune region. The event concluded on Sunday. During the exhibition a special cover on Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune was released by Sawaleshwarkar. As a part of the exhibition, a stamp competition on the theme ‘Save a Girl Child and Swachh Bharat Sundar Bharat’ was organised for the students up to 15 years of age.

“The department also organised quiz competition-cum-workshop on Postal Stamp and Philately. This competition was only for school students up to 15 years of age. On this occasion a special cover on Lohgad Fort was released during this function”,  said FB Sayyed, Assistant Post Master General of Pune region.
