Pune: 60 gardens in the city set to reopen from January 25

The gardens, parks are set to reopen from January 25 in the city limits.

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Wednesday declared the reopening of 60 public gardens or parks in the city. The gardens, parks are set to reopen from January 25 in the city limits.

PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar in his order said, “No group activity would be permitted in the garden. Also, there will be no permission to conduct yoga classes, laughter clubs or any public functions in the garden.”

The corporation also issued guidelines where it asked to follow all COVID-19 restrictions. Check out the detailed guidelines below:

· Parks will remain open from 6 am to 10 am and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm.

· It is mandatory to follow social distancing.

· Though exercises such as walking, running and others are allowed, it is duty of every individual to perform it with keeping all social distancing restrictions.

· Yoga classes, laughter classes, video shooting, public functions are not permitted in the garden.

· It is mandatory for all to use face mask whenever in the garden premises.

· People over age of 65 and below age 10 will not be given entry to visit parks.

· It is strictly prohibited to consume tobacco substance and spitting in the park.
