Organised by the National Book Trust at Fergusson College grounds, the festival has transformed the venue into a vibrant hub of books and culture. Visitors are not only purchasing books in large numbers but are also engaging enthusiastically with a wide range of literary and cultural programmes.

These include author-reader interactions, poetry recitals, panel discussions, book launches, and performances rooted in art and culture.

The festival will continue for two more days, Saturday (December 20) and Sunday (December 21). Organisers believe this final weekend will see even larger footfalls, as families, students, and avid readers make the most of discounted books and curated events.

Speaking about the response, chief organiser Rajesh Pandey said the festival has truly become a “festival of knowledge,” with people from all age groups participating actively. He encouraged more Pune residents to visit, explore quality literature at affordable prices, and enjoy the diverse literary and cultural offerings before the event concludes.
