The action was carried out at a spa located in The Cosmopolis building, opposite Seasons Mall, after police received specific information about illegal activities being conducted from the premises.

Before conducting the raid, police deployed a decoy customer to verify the allegations. Once the information was confirmed, a police team raided the spa and rescued three women who were allegedly being exploited for commercial sexual activities.

According to the investigation, the women had reportedly been lured with promises of jobs and money before being forced into prostitution.

Police have booked the spa owner, Ashwini Murde, a resident of Kalyani Nagar, and the spa manager, Rakbul Abul Hussain, under the provisions of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.

Investigators believe the accused were using the spa as a cover for illegal activities and exploiting women for financial gain.

The rescued women have been provided assistance in accordance with legal procedures. Police are now investigating whether the racket has links to a larger prostitution network operating in the city. Further investigation is underway.
