Pune Elgar Parishad case: Investigate Bhima Koregaon riots through SIT, demands Shauryadin Prerna Abhiyaan

Pune: Members of the Bhima Koregaon Shauryadin Prerna Abhiyaan held protests at the Pune District Collectorate against the arrests of Kabir Kala Manch (KKM) members. They also demanded that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) should investigate the matter. Protests were held in front of Pune District Collector's Office on Monday. 

They also demanded that Manohar Bhide and Milind Ekbote, who were responsible for the riots, should be arrested. National Investigation Agency (NIA), recently had arrested three KKM members, Ramesh Gaichor, Sagar Gorkhe and Jyoti Jagtap, for their links with the banned CPI-Maoist.  15 persons are been arrested in the case under sections of the Indian Penal Code and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).

The Muslim Manch President Anjum Inamdar, Swaraj Abhiyan Ibrahim Khan, Republican Bharat Akash Sable, Akhil Maharashtra Kamgar Sanghatana Kishor Kamble, Siddharth Dive, Kabir Kala Manch's Ramdas Unhale, Bhimshahi Yuva Sangh Nitin Gaikwad, social activists Shahrukh Khan, Aslam Bagwan, Raj Faiyaz, Hundreds of activists including Advocate Kranti Sahane, Advocate Taisif Sheikh, Krantisurya Sanghatana Shubham Jagtap, Nitin Jagtap, Akshay Salve, Vishal Bhalerao protested against the arrest.
