The minimum temperature also remained below average at 17.8°C, about 1.3°C lower than usual. This marks the lowest daytime temperature recorded in April since 2016, highlighting a significant dip in expected summer heat.

The cooler conditions come after widespread rainfall across Pune and nearby areas on March 30 and April 2. The rain activity has played a key role in bringing down temperatures and delaying the usual rise in heat during early April.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), both maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to increase gradually over the next few days and return to normal levels by the weekend.

For the coming week, the weather is likely to remain mostly clear, with partly cloudy conditions developing during the afternoon or evening.
