A vintage coach, supplied by Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) based in Kolkata, has been transformed into a fully air-conditioned dining area. It is situated close to the Family Court section of the Pune District Court. Authorities mentioned that the location was selected due to its closeness to the Pune District Court Metro Station.

Authorities stated that the restaurant is anticipated to draw in both frequent travelers and tourists. The initiative is projected to bring in approximately Rs 1.45 lakh monthly for Maha Metro. After the tender process concludes, the restaurant will commence full operations, offering affordable and high-quality food choices.

Thousands of passengers travel daily on the Vanaz–Ramwadi and Pimpri Chinchwad–Swargate routes. Pune District Court Metro Station acts as an interchange station for both these lines. With its accessibility to the Pune city area, many people frequent this metro station. Officials said the restaurant aims to offer a new experience for commuters and visitors.

The authorities are finalizing preparations to open the restaurant to the public in the coming days. According to Maha Metro officials, the project aims to repurpose old infrastructure while improving passenger amenities.
