The huts, built with tin sheets and bamboo structures, were completely destroyed in the blaze. All household belongings and essential items were reduced to ashes. According to local residents, the fire spread rapidly, leaving families with little time to salvage their possessions.

Fortunately, no injuries or loss of life were reported in the incident. Residents managed to move to safety in time. Authorities shifted the affected families to a temporary safe location and arranged immediate basic assistance. Fire brigade officials reached the spot and conducted a preliminary inspection.

Officials stated, “The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. A detailed investigation is underway. Initial suspicion suggests that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit or a gas leak, but confirmation is awaited after a thorough probe.”
