Pune: Midnight Fire Incidents Reported at Two Locations on Fergusson College Road

Pune Fire: One fire broke out near Rupali hotel, while the other occurred at Deccan Corner; No casualties as fire brigade swiftly controls both situations

Pune, 25 April 2026: Two fire accidents were reported in the city during late night and early morning hours, creating brief panic but causing no loss of life.

The first incident occurred around midnight near Fergusson College Road, close to Hotel Rupali. A tin shed used for storing clothes suddenly caught fire. Locals noticed the flames and immediately alerted the fire brigade.

Fire personnel reached the spot quickly and managed to bring the blaze under control using water jets.

The second incident took place around 4 am at Deccan Corner. A fire broke out in the premises of a mall, where some items kept outside a hotel and parts of the false ceiling caught fire. The fire brigade responded promptly and prevented the flames from spreading further.

Officials confirmed that both fires were controlled in time and no injuries or fatalities were reported. The exact cause of the fires in both incidents is still unknown and is being investigated.
