Pune: Mild Earthquake Tremors Felt in Ranjangaon; No Casualties Reported

Pune, MARCH 3 2026: Around 4 PM on Monday (March 2), residents of Ranjangaon felt mild tremors as an earthquake struck the area, prompting temporary panic and causing many to rush outdoors.

Several houses reportedly sustained minor damage, with cracks appearing in walls, though fortunately no injuries were reported.

Residents said household utensils had fallen during the tremors, and mild shaking was widely felt across the area. Cracks were also observed in a few homes in the affected locality.

Authorities are currently awaiting official data on the earthquake’s magnitude and epicenter. The local administration continues to monitor the situation closely.
