Pune, 6th July 2026: Maharashtra State Transport (ST) bus services between Pune and Mumbai have been suspended until further orders after a landslide disrupted traffic on the Pune-Mumbai route.
Four ST buses that had left Pune for Mumbai on Monday morning were stranded near the Urse Toll Plaza due to the road blockage. The buses were safely recalled to Pune, and all passengers were brought back without any reported injuries.
Kamlesh Dhanarale, Divisional Transport Officer of the Pune ST Division, said that bus services between Pune and Mumbai will remain suspended until the route is declared safe for travel.
He appealed to passengers to cooperate with the authorities and avoid planning their journey until the road is cleared and normal services resume.
