Pune: One Killed After Speeding Truck Rams Six Vehicles at Navale Bridge in Narhe

Truck coming from Katraj reportedly lost control early Friday morning, crashing into multiple vehicles and causing major traffic disruption

Pune, 13 March 2026: A major road accident occurred at Navale Bridge Chowk in Narhe on Friday around 6:30 am, after a speeding truck rammed into several vehicles.

The truck, which was coming from the Katraj side, crashed into two-wheelers and four-wheelers ahead, leading to a collision involving six vehicles.

According to preliminary information, the truck driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to smash into vehicles on the road. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving several vehicles badly damaged.

A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in the crash and died on the spot. Other injured persons were rescued and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Following the accident, a large crowd gathered at the spot and traffic in the area was disrupted for some time. Police and emergency response teams reached the scene soon after receiving the information and began rescue and traffic management operations.

According to preliminary information, the truck driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the vehicles ahead, resulting in a multi-vehicle collision. Police have registered the case and further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
