Traffic Curbs on Bajirao Road

On Bajirao Road, vehicles heading from Puram Chowk towards Shivajinagar may be restricted depending on the procession movement. Motorists are advised to take a left turn from Puram Chowk and use Lokmanya Tilak Road via Tilak Chowk and Khandoji Baba Chowk as an alternative route.

Diversions in Camp (Lashkar) Area

In the Camp area, traffic restrictions will be implemented in phases based on the movement of the procession. Vehicles moving from Y Junction towards MG Road will not be allowed during this period.

Once the procession crosses certain points, traffic will be diverted accordingly. Vehicles will be rerouted from 15 August Chowk and later from Mohammad Rafi Chowk towards East Street.

Additional Route Changes and Advisory

Traffic from Kohinoor Hotel towards MG Road will be blocked and diverted through Bhople Chowk, Qureshi Masjid, and Centre Street. Similarly, vehicles from Volga Chowk towards Mohammad Rafi Chowk will be redirected via East Street towards Indira Gandhi Chowk.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav has appealed to citizens to avoid these routes during the procession hours and opt for alternative roads to prevent congestion and delays.
