Pune: Woman doctor accuses two doctors of molesting her at COVID-19 facility

Pune: The Jumbo COVID Hospital has already made a buzz since its inauguration.  Right from its negligence towards patients to mobile phones theft from the site. And now, two doctors have been booked for allegedly molesting their woman colleague working in a facility, police said on Sunday.

In her complaint, the doctor said she was touched in an inappropriate manner on several occasions by the two doctors in the last few days, a Shivajinagar police station officer said. A woman in her complaint has stated that she was touched in an inappropriate manner at multiple instances by the two doctors in the last few days, a Shivajinagar police station officer informed. Shivajinagar police have booked the two doctors under relevant sections of IPC (Indian Penal Code).

Since its inauguration, the jumbo facility was run by Lifeline agency but subsequent many grievances about the facilities and catastrophe to provide proper treatment, its service was discontinued. Now the responsibility of the COVID Hospital has been given to Medbros who along with senior civic officers will monitor the functioning.
