Railways changes train timetable from July 1

Pune: The Railways has introduced Western Zone timetable effective from July 1. Due to this, the Down trains Mumbai-Pune Sinhagad Express, Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna Express departure time has been changed. Among Up trains, Solapur-Siddheshwar Express, Kolhapur-Mumbai Mahalaxmi and Sahyadri Express timing has been changed.

According to the Central Railway, 29 express trains of the zone have been speeded up by 3 to 20 minutes. Solapur-Kolhapur Express has been speeded up by 65 minutes and Kolhapur-Solapur Express speeded up by 120 minutes. Ten express trains of this zone have been speeded up from 10 to 30 minutes from end to end and 30 passenger trains of CR have been speeded up by 5 to 35 minutes.

“The Railway has changed an express train to superfast train. Train number 11051/50 Solapur-Kolhapur Express will run as Superfast from July 1 with a new number as 22133/34. The tickets of passengers who booked on train number 11051/50 will be collected at the time of the journey,” said Chief Public Relations Officer Sunil Udasi.
