A minor disagreement escalated into an incident in which a motorist attacked a doctor in the Kalepadal locality of Hadapsar. A criminal case has been filed against the group responsible for the assault.
In this case, Dr. Avesh Nasir Khan, 35, a resident of Emerald County in Kondhwa, has filed a complaint with the Kalepadal Police Station.
Police reports indicate that Dr. Khan was heading to a petrol station in the Undri area of Hadapsar when the accused approached the vicinity on a two-wheeler. They positioned their vehicle across his path, compelling him to halt his car.
When asked, 'Why are you driving the car so fast?', the accused responded by verbally abusing Dr. Khan.
They then picked up a stone from the road and hurled it at him. The accused continued the attack using a solid object. A terrified Dr. Khan went to the police and lodged a complaint. Police Sub-Inspector Gayatri Bairagi is leading the investigation.
An incident took place in the Viman Nagar area where two students standing outside a college hostel were assaulted.
A case has been filed against two individuals in connection with the incident. Rakesh Kailas Gharade (52), a resident of Balwar Ali, Guruwar Peth, lodged a complaint at the Airport Police Station.
According to the police, Gharade works as a supervisor at a college hostel in Viman Nagar. On August 16, at around 9:30 p.m., two hostel students were walking after dinner when the accused stopped them and asked, "Why did you use abusive language in English?" They then assaulted the students and hurled a cement block at them.
After this, the accused entered the college hostel, spread fear, and threatened to kill the students, as stated in Gharade’s complaint. Police Sub-Inspector Akshay Sonawane is investigating the case.
An assault incident targeting a shopkeeper who repairs punctured tyres took place in the Kondhwa area. A case has been filed against the group involved.
In connection with the incident, Abdul Wali Mohammad Khan (37), a resident of Bhagodaynagar, Kondhwa, lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. An offence has been registered against five to six individuals in this matter. Khan runs a shop near Sant Gadge Maharaj School in Kondhwa.
The accused allegedly entered the shop and, over a minor dispute, abused Khan and struck him on the head with a hard object. Assistant Police Inspector Doke is conducting the investigation.
