Rlys sends relief material to Sangli and Kolhapur

Pune: The Pune Railway Division has sent the first lot of relief materials for flood-affected people of Sangli, Kolhapur and surrounding areas. The material included packed food items, biscuits, water, clothes, blankets and necessary items.

The initiative was taken by Divisional Railway Manager Milind Deouskar. 

The relief material was sent on Sunday, and included large quantities of blankets, sheets, clothes for women, children, food packets etc. 

The consignment will be handed over to the local administration involved in relief work. Mahila Samaj Seva Sangathan (MSSS) also contributed. MSSS President Seema Deouskar took the initiative to send relief materials collected from members of the organisation.
