PUNE: The 140th birth anniversary of Sadhu TL Vaswani will be celebrated by the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune, with a series of events starting from November 16, which will conclude on November 25, 2019 - Sadhu Vaswani’s birthday. November 25 is also observed as International Meatless Day.

A fair will be organised for the needy and underprivileged children on November 16. The youth wing of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission has also organised a talk show with celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar on wellness on November 17. There are also a series of celebrations by the schools and colleges being run by the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune. A rath yatra will be organised on November 23. ‘Dada Leela’, a theatrical performance by the students of St Mira’s College on the life and teachings of Sadhu Vaswani, will be organised on November 24. The celebration will conclude with a satsang and reading of sacred scriptures on November 25.
