This unique opportunity was made possible through an academic collaboration between SPPU's Department of Foreign Languages and RUDN University. The two institutions have been working together since 2017, conducting various joint initiatives under their educational agreement. The summer school is a direct outcome of this partnership and represents a significant milestone in cross-border academic engagement.

For the selected students, this 15-day summer school is not just about enhancing language skills, it offers a rare opportunity to experience Russian culture first-hand. Starting July 14, they will participate in intensive Russian language sessions while engaging with students from around the world, gaining global exposure and building international friendships.

The training offered by the Russian university is completely free for the selected students. Alongside language instruction, the program promises to broaden their understanding of Russian society, art, and traditions. It also allows them to step beyond linguistic learning and embrace the world as global citizens.

According to Dr. Anagha Bhatt-Behere, coordinator for the Russian language program at SPPU, this experience will provide students with updated knowledge, global exposure, and valuable certificates. She emphasized that Russian, and other foreign languages, offer vast career opportunities, and more students should prioritize learning them to unlock global prospects.
