Authorities said water leakage from the side walls often leads to water accumulation inside the underpass, creating safety hazards for motorists. The city administration plans to fix the issue within the next three days.

Traffic officials advised motorists arriving from Shankarsheth Road to avoid the underpass and instead take the left road toward Jedhe Chowk before heading to Sarasbaug.

Police Deputy Commissioner (Traffic) Himmat Jadhav urged drivers to follow the diversion for smooth traffic movement.
