TRTI invites online applications for UPSC and MPSC coaching

Pune: Tribal Research and Training Institute (TRTI), which conducts UPSC/MPSC coaching classes for students belonging to tribal areas has invited online applications. The last date to fill the applications is February 28. 

There are 25 training seats in Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) out of 225, in total nine universities across the State.

Based on the results in Common Entrance Test-2019 conducted by the institute, the candidates will be given admission to the respective universities.

The candidate should be from ST caste or a tribal area in Maharashtra. He/she should be eligible for UPSC/MPSC (Civil Services) Examination and have completed 21 years of age.

Thirty per cent reservation will be for women and three per cent for specially-abled candidates will be alloted.

The TRTI undertakes research studies on various aspects of tribals. It also does evaluation studies in order to assess the impact of developmental programmes/ schemes on the life of the tribal people in the State. It also conducts special training programmes for tribal youths who appear for MPSC, UPSC and other competitive examinations.
