Two trains cancelled due to rain

PUNE: Heavy rain across Mumbai disrupted train service between Pune and Mumbai section on Saturday. Due to waterlogging and continuous rain at Karjat-Chok stations, the Central Railway (CR) has cancelled several trains. 

According to the CR, train number 11008 Pune-Mumbai Deccan Express was cancelled on Saturday and it will be cancelled on Sunday as well. Similarly, train number 51317/18 Karjat-Pune-Karjat Passenger will be cancelled on Sunday too. Train number 11025/26 Bhusaval-Pune-Bhusaval will be diverted via Manmad-Daund on Sunday.

STOPPAGE AT YAVAT
To facilitate the journey of commuters travelling during Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi procession, it has been decided to provide a one minute temporary stoppage at Yavat, Kedagaon and Patas stations from July 9 to 12. As per the notification issued by the Pune railway division, train number 12779/80 Vasco Da Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Goa Express, 17031/32 Mumbai-Hyderabad-Mumbai Express will halt at Yavat station. Similarly, train number 12169/70 Pune-Solapur Intercity Express will halt at Kedgaon. Train number 12157/58 Pune-Solapur-Hutatma Express will halt at Patas station for one minute.
