Pune: A shocking video of a lady traffic police personnel was seen taking bribe from a woman is making buzz on social media. The video was shot on Wednesday in Pimpri.

Now, according to various reports, the Pimpri Chinchwad traffic branch initiated strict action against woman cop who was filmed. In the viral video, shot by some unidentified person near Shagun Chowk in Pimpri area, the lady traffic cop is initially having a word with two women. The traffic cop after some time signalled the girl to come near her from her back, where she can be seen slipping something in the back pocket of the officer.

After the clip went viral on social media Pimpri-Chinchwad Police officials took cognizance of the matter. A report was also submitted to senior officials for further action. The incident had taken place in Pimpri on December 15.

The primary inquiry suggests that the woman and the girl riding pillion were stopped at the traffic junction.
