Arindam And Kamya Score Upset Wins In Quarter-Finals

Pune: Arindam Bit and Kamya Parab stormed into the semi-finals scoring upset wins over their respective opponents in Boys and Girls categories in the MSLTA-Yonex Sunrise All-India Ranking Championship Series Under-16 tennis played at Metrocity Sports Club in Ideal Colony.

Arindam scored 9-6 win over third seeded Ishan Godhbharle, while in the girls section Kamya too got better of her third seeded opponent, Aishwarya Kumar, 9-3.

Quarterfinals:

Boys: Aryan Hood bt Jay Pawar 9-4; Arindam Bit bt 3-Ishan Godhbharle 9-6; 5-Aryan Kotasthane bt Vikram Arabatti  9-5.
Girls: 1-Sanjivani Kutwal bt 7-Purva Bhujbal 9-1; Aashi Chhajed bt Lolakshi Kankariya 9-5; Kamya Parab bt 3-Aishwarya Kumar 9-3; Gargee Phule bt Gargee Shah 9-3.
