Back to back win for Nair Eagles

Pune: Nair Eagles scored back to back wins over their respective opponents in the ‘Lions Premier League’ Twenty-20 Cricket Championship organised by Lions Club district 323 D-2 and played at the Deccan Gymkhana ground.

On Wednesday, Nair Eagles registered 6 wickets victory over Naik Paltan to record their second win and secured the place in the knock out stage, Chasing 140 for a win, Abhishek Mohite scored a quickfire 51 off 30 balls, to play the anchor role.  He was ably supported by 24 each by Nitesh Gundecha and Faiyaz Landge. Earlier, Naik Paltan put up 139/7 on board in 20 overs.

Result: Nair Eagles won by six wickets.
