Pune: Kshitij Ghodkey from BMCC defeated Abhijit Atharva from Dnyanganga Junior College 11-1,11-1 in the singles match of the Under-19 category of the Zilla Parishad Badminton tournament being played at the Modern Sports Complex on Wednesday.

In the doubles match,the pair of Kshitij Ghodkey and Sahil Natu defeated Abhijit Atharva and Maitreya Jamkar 11-0,11-3.

Meanwhile Dr Kalmadi Shamarao High School defeated Sir Parashurambhau College 2-0. Hrushikesh Karmakar defeated Yadnyesh Patil 11-3,11-6 in the singles match while in the doubles match, Bhushan Potnis and Shriram Sarang defeated Sushruth Vishwamitra and Yadnyesh Patil 11-6,11-8,11-6.
