Confident Chawla emerges victorious

Pune: Ketan Chawla was stretched to the distance by opponent Rahul Sachdev before emerging winner of the second edition of Rajabhau Shahade Cup PYC-Green Baize Open Snooker Challenge, on Tuesday.
In a final that was decided over five frames, Ketan won 66-18, 63-29, 79-24, 32-74, 09-61, 63-13 to bag the title.

The winner received Rs 30,000 and a trophy while the runner-up received Rs 15,000 and a trophy.

Meanwhile, Abhimanu Gandhi who achieved the highest break (89 points) of the tournament received a cash award of Rs 5000.

Final: Ketan Chawla (Mumbai) bt Rahul Sachdev (Mumbai) 66-18, 63-29, 79-24, 32-74, 09-61, 63-13.
