Pune: Deccan Gymkhana ‘A’ defeated Ideal ‘A’ 49-27 in the semi-finals of the girls category of the 7th Late Sanjay Mahadeo Nimhan Memorial Under-16 Basketball Tournament being played at the Deccan Gymkhana basketball courts.
The Deccan Gymkkhana girls were ahead at half time as the score read 31-22 in their favour.

For Deccan Gymkhana, Saanvi Gholap scored 18 points while Siya Khilare scored 9 points. For Ideal, Oshin Ajnikar scored 11 points and Saee Kulkarni scored 8 points.

In another semi-final encounter, Sardar Dastur defeated Millennium School 27-22 to enter the final. The score at half time was 12-13 with the Millennium girls leading.

For Sardar Dastur, Sanskruti Pawar scored 14 points while Dnyaneshwari Kondhare scored 5 points. 
For Millennium School, Atmaja Dani scored 11 points.
