India vs England ODI series squad announced: Suryakumar Yadav earns maiden call-up; Hardik, Bhuvneshwar return

India's squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England was announced on Friday by the All-India Senior Selection Committee of the BCCI. The series starts on March 23 with BCCI deciding to conduct all the ODIs in Pune.

India squad:

Virat Kohli (Capt), Rohit Sharma (vc), Shikhar Dhawan, Shubman Gill, Shreyas, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant (wk), KL Rahul (wk), Y Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Krunal Pandya, W Sundar, T Natarajan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Md. Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Shardul Thakur.

Led by Chetan Sharma, the All-India Senior Selection Committee declared the 18-member squad for the upcoming series against England.

Suryakumar Yadav, who proved his mettle with a knock of 57 off 31 balls against Eoin Morgan and co in the fourth T20 international played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, has been rewarded by the selectors.

Also India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was injured during the last year's Indian Premier League (IPL) is back in the side. All-rounder Krunal Pandya, who has represented India in 18 T20Is, has been his maiden call-up for the 50-over format. The BCCI has also rewarded P Krishna and Mohammed Siraj by naming the two pacers in the ODI squad.

M Prasidh Krishna has received a maiden call-up to the Indian squad for their upcoming three-match ODI series against England.

Krishna took 14 wickets at an average of 22.21 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy to help Karnataka to the semi-finals, where they lost to eventual champions Mumbai.
