Netizens on Twitter couldn’t keep their calm after Glenn Maxwell earned the mega amount in the auction and joined RCB to play along Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers

Six months back in 2020 Australia’s fiery all-rounder Glenn Maxwell didn’t have the best of times in the Indian Premier League (IPL) played in UAE. He failed to hit a single six in the entire tournament. However, bearing in mind his astounding skill with the bat in hand, he was expected to be a player to watch out for in the auction on Thursday.

The all-rounder despite of poor form last year was picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore for whopping Rs 14.25 crore. It is projected that Maxwell’s appointment will suit up for the RCB in the next season. RCB will be overjoyed with the signing of the world-class all-rounder as it adds another match-winner to their already star-studded batting line-up that consists of India skipper Virat Kohli and Mr 360 AB de Villiers.

As soon as he was chosen by RCB in the auction on Thursday, cricket fans on Twitter went crazy over the all-rounder joining Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers together at RCB. Expectations are sky high for him in the 14th season of IPL. This is how Twitter reacted:
