Pune: Konark Inchekar, Ekisha Medane, Vedant Natu and Aanchal Jain topped their respective sections in the Solaris-Ravetkar Cup District Ranking Badminton Tournament at the Mayur Colony courts here on Saturday.

On the final day, Konark and Ekisha bagged the Under-11 boys and girls titles in contrasting styles. Konark won a tight game against Sarthak Patankar 15-14, 15-14, while Ekisha had it easy against Pranjal Satpute 15-7, 15-11.

Later in the Under-13 section, Vedant staged a comeback, to down Om Hojage 10-15, 15-13, 15-5 to stand tall amongst the boys, whereas Aanchal had a relatively easy time against Riya Bhalerao 15-2, 15-6.

In the Under-15 section, Sarvesh Houji won a relatively easy match against Jay Pimple 15-12, 15-8 for the boys title. In contrast was Sanika Patankar, who had to sweat hard before getting the better of Aanchal Jain 15-7, 12-15, 15-8.
