Ness Wadia boys enter final

Pune: Ness Wadia defeated Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) 48-43 to enter the final of the men’s category of Fireball XIX basketball tournament being played at Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering.

The match was a close one right from the start as Ness Wadia led with the score of 21-19 at half time. For Ness Wadia, Pranav Dutta scored 24 points and Akash Sachdev scored 5 points. For AFMC, Arjun Rathod scored 6 points and Anirudh Tiwari scored 9 points.

In another match, TCS defeated BNY Mellon 45-23. Navneet Tiwari (9) and Arpit Shukla (4) got on the scoreline for TCS.
In the women’s battle, Infosys defeated Wipro 16-10 with Vishaka Sharma (13) and Shivani Poptani (12) scoring for the winners.
