Pune: Thane’s Ajaysingh Patil defeated Kolhapur’s Zaid Swar 12-14,11-7,11-2,14-12 in the second round of the Youth Boys category of the first Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament being played at Symbiosis Sports Centre on Tuesday.

In another match, first seed Sanat Bokil beat Arya Sheth 9-11,13-11,11-7,8-11,11-8 in an all Pune encounter. Dev Shroff from Mumbai suburbs defeated Rohit Joshi from Parbhani with the score of 11-4,11-6,11-5. Also registering a win was Aryan Gour who beat Pune’s Yogesh Nadgauda 11-7,11-5,12-10.
