PUNE: Rachana School put on a good fight as they defeated Om Shanti School 35-34 to emerge victorious at the KBD Juniors Season 2 Ahmedabad finale. 

Rachana School were impressive in the entire event as they remained unbeaten and eventually won the title. Rachana School which was trailing by 20 points in the first half, regrouped and scored points in time making a good comeback with decisive precision.

In the semifinals, Rachana School beat Udgam School with the score reading 51-16 while Om Shanti School beat Somalit Primary School 38-10 to enter the finals.

Earlier in the event, Udgam School defeated Divine Life School 21-12 while Rachana School dominated as they defeated Silver Bell English School 28-9 followed by Somlalit Primary School who defeated Divine Buds English School 34-3. 

Gujarat FortuneGiants raiders Yashwant Bishnoi and Dharmender along with defender C. Kalai Arasan were present during the event to encourage the school kids and award the trophy to the winning team.

Parents and teachers were also present to cheer the students.
