This ascent comes after a stellar World Cup season where Singh made a fiery start to her senior international career, winning three consecutive Individual World Cup titles. Her performance has not only cemented her place at the top of the world rankings but has also boosted her confidence as she prepares for her first World Championships.

While Singh leads the way, other Indian shooters have also made their mark in the rankings. Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker is positioned sixth in the women's 10m air pistol list with 1988 points. In the 25m air pistol rankings, Bhaker holds the fourth spot, with her compatriot Esha Singh close behind in sixth place.

The Indian presence in the top rankings extends to other shooting disciplines as well. Sift Kaur Samra, the reigning Asian Champion, holds the second position in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women category with 3034 points, just behind Norway's Jeanette Hegg Duestad. Additionally, Ashi Chouksey is ranked tenth in the same event, while Elavenil Valarivan occupies the fifth spot in the women’s 10m air rifle rankings.

These strong rankings across multiple categories highlight the depth of talent within the Indian shooting contingent. The consistent performances of both emerging and established shooters on the international stage signal a promising future for the sport in India, with these athletes now setting their sights on major competitions.
