Pune: Pune’s most sought-after golfing destination, the Oxford Golf Resort’ has been awarded ‘Best Golf Course in India’ at the Asian Golf Awards 2019 after the course nestled in Sahyadri ranges was voted from among over 120 golf courses from across the country.
Oxford Golf Resort (OGR) also won the ‘Best Driving Range’ award during the Asia-Pacific Golf Summit 2019 held at the DLF property in Gurugram on November 6.
The two awards were presented at a gala evening to OGR Chairman Anil Seolekar and his team comprising Sanjay Kulkarni and Kamal Dubey.
Of the 120 golf courses from across the country vying for the awards, three were nominated for this title and OGR was voted for the award for fourth year in a row.
“Winning once is fun but winning consecutively is proof of the consistent belief to excel and strive to perfection in order to offer the ultimate golfing experience to our clients,” said Seolekar, who thanked OGR members, well-wishers, Director and Mentor and golf architect Phil Ryan for the latest honour.
