United meets Wordwiz in final

Pune: Rakshit Lodha’s all-round performance helped PCMA United to a score 11-run win over PSA Eleven in the first semifinal match of the Federation Premier League 2019 Cricket tournament organised by the Federation of Trade Associations of Pune at the Katariya High School Ground here in Mukundnagar.

PCMA United rode on to Rakshit’s 33-ball 65 that included 5 sixes and 3 fours and posted 127 for 4 in the allotted 12 overs. Adhish Shah chipped in with 28 is putting up the challenging total.

In reply PSA Eleven got stranded at 116 for 8 thanks to Rakshit’s 2 for 21 after Hitesh Mirajkar (3 for 16) broke through the batting order.

The second semifinal saw CMDA Wordwiz beat CAPD Lifesavers by 52 runs thanks to Prafulla Mankar’s 32-ball 61 with 8 fours and 2 sixes.

Mankar later returned with the ball to take two wickets to help Wordwiz restrict Lifesavers at 82 for 8.

CMDA Wordwiz 134 for 4 in 12 overs (Prafulla Mankar 61, Santosh Bhelke 28, Ketan Pasalkar 27, Kamlesh Mutha 2-35) beat CAPD Lifesavers 82 for 8 in 12 overs (Amol Katke 21, Ganesh Salunkhe 11, Swapnil Katule 11*, Prafulla Mankar 2-37, Gopal Bahirat 2-6).
