Marking its milestone on Wednesday, Apple’s rise has transformed both technology and popular culture, bringing desktop computers and smartphones into the mainstream, popularizing mobile apps, and setting the standard for seamless integration of hardware and software.

Apple’s rise is marked by a sharp surge in its stock since the early 2000s, driven by the iPhone and M-series chips, while its annual revenue is nearing $465 billion. Its services segment now fuels steady growth, with China and emerging markets boosting sales, alongside a strong evolution from the Apple I to today’s diverse product lineup.

Apple kicked off its 50th anniversary with a star-studded celebration, starting with a live performance by 17-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys at Apple Grand Central, New York.

Around the world, Apple stores hosted creative events: in London, artists like Nia Archives and Mumford & Sons showcased music production using Apple tools, while Paris celebrated the French touch movement with pop-up studios, workshops, and performances by pioneers and rising stars, highlighting creativity, innovation, and how Apple products empower artistic expression.
