AT&S Opens Global IT Shared Service Center in Pune

AT&S's new Global IT Shared Service Center in Pune, supporting global operations with advanced IT solutions and creating employment opportunities.

AT&S AG, a global leader in IC substrates and printed circuit boards, has inaugurated its Global IT Shared Service Center (IT SSC) in Pune, Maharashtra. This move is part of the company's broader strategy to enhance its digital transformation and operational efficiency across its global operations. The Pune center will cater to AT&S's facilities in Austria, China, Malaysia, and India, supporting six manufacturing plants and nine sales offices worldwide.

The IT SSC will focus on delivering innovative IT solutions to support AT&S's global operations. It will enhance efficiency through advanced IT security, SAP management, software development, and digital transformation initiatives.

AT&S plans to hire over 100 technical professionals by 2025-26 for roles in IT security, infrastructure, and operations technology.

Centers of Excellence (CoE):

The facility is structured around four key CoEs:

  • Security & Infrastructure

  • IT Applications

  • Operations Technology

  • Digital & Data

This initiative follows a meeting between AT&S executives and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Austria in 2024, highlighting India's strategic role in the company's global expansion.

The center is headed by A.S. Raghavendra, who will oversee the delivery of scalable and innovative solutions to AT&S's global operations.
