The new version simplifies the process of merchant payments, allowing for seamless transactions between consumers and businesses. Merchants can now accept payments more efficiently, encouraging wider adoption of digital payments.

BHIM 3.0 allows users to link their RuPay credit cards to their UPI ID. This integration enables customers to make payments using their credit cards via UPI QR codes, enhancing convenience and accessibility for both customers and merchants.

A significant addition is the capability for cross-border transactions. Users can now send and receive payments internationally through the UPI platform, thanks to partnerships with countries like Singapore, UAE, and others. This feature will particularly benefit Indian travelers abroad.

The app incorporates advanced security protocols and encryption standards to safeguard users' financial data, addressing growing concerns about digital transaction security. BHIM 3.0 features a refreshed user interface designed for ease of navigation, making it accessible for users of all ages.

Users can now enable recurring e-mandates for various services such as utility bills, subscriptions, and loans, providing greater convenience in managing regular payments. The app includes analytics tools that help users track their spending habits, promoting better financial management. To cater to a diverse user base, BHIM 3.0 supports multiple languages, ensuring inclusivity in digital transactions.
