Reliance Jio has partnered with tech giant Google to offer 18 months access to Gemini 2.5 AI Pro model for free. This means that Jio users will be able to avail Gemini Pro AI worth Rs 35,10 for free Co 482.70 million Jio subscribers. The announcement comes days after OpenAI announced to offer ChatGPT Go free for all users n India starting November 4, 2025. A similar partnership was announced by Airtel earlier this Dy year offering one-year access to Perplexity AI for free.
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), through Reliance Intelligence Limited, and Google have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate AI adoption in India, “empowering consumers, enterprises, and developers in line with Reliance’s AI for All vision.” The initiatives aim to democratise AI access and strengthen India’s digital foundation.

Eligible Jio users will receive our AI Pro plan at no extra cost for 18 months, including Gemini 2.5 Pro, 2TB of storage, our latest AI creation tools. Can't wait to see what we'll build together!” Sundar Pichai posted on X.
Google Gemini AI is an integrated multimodal AI model designed to comprehend and analyze various inputs effortlessly. It comprises three models: Gemini Nano, Gemini Pro, and Gemini Ultra. The Gemini Pro AI is a subscription-based version that provides advanced features, including Gemini 2.5 Pro.
Additional advantages include increased limits for creating impressive images and videos using their cutting-edge Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models, extended access to Notebook LM for academic and research purposes, 2 TB of cloud storage, and more.
The offer is available to all Jio users through the MyJio app. Initially, it will be rolled out to users aged 18 to 25 years, with plans to expand the availability to other users soon.

Look for the banner at the top that reads: “Pro plan of Google Gemini FREE.”
Tap the banner and register to get 18 months of Google Gemini Pro access at no cost.
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation message:
“Thank you for your interest. We have received your request for the Google Gemini offer for Jio. We will get in touch with you on the next steps in a few days.”
