Additionally, Chrome users will soon have the ability to access Google Search's AI Mode directly from the address bar and effortlessly change compromised passwords with a single click.
Gemini in Chrome is currently available for users in the United States who use Chrome in English, with Google saying it will expand these features to other regions in the future.
Google announced that in the upcoming months, it plans to integrate agentic features into Gemini in Chrome. This will allow the AI to manage mundane tasks such as scheduling a haircut or ordering groceries for the week, and to perform actions on web pages on your behalf, enabling you to concentrate on other activities.
Gemini in Chrome is designed with multiple layers to better predict your requirements, assist in comprehending intricate information, and enhance your productivity while surfing the internet.
Gemini will also be able to handle your Chrome tabs. For example, you can ask the AI chatbot to compare prices across tabs, summarise information and consolidate all travel information into a single itinerary. Users can also ask the AI chatbot things like “what was the website that I saw the blue wall hanging on last week?” and “what was that blog I read on College Challenges?”
