As AI image tools continue to advance, Google has introduced Nano Banana Pro, its newest state-of-the-art generator built on Gemini 3 Pro. The tool can create and edit images with far greater precision, realism and control, turning simple ideas into detailed visuals. Here’s a quick look at what it does and how it works.
Nano Banana Pro is Google's latest image-generation model, built upon Gemini 3 Pro. Users can input their desired image description, and the model will generate a corresponding picture. Additionally, it has the capability to modify sections of existing images. According to Google, this version is more intelligent, precise, and inventive compared to its predecessors (Nano Banana).
Nano Banana Pro, powered by Gemini 3 Pro, understands prompts more accurately and can even pull real-time information from Google Search to create context-based images. For example, if you ask it to show today’s weather or create a picture based on a real sports update, it can do that.
It's biggest strength is writing clear text directly within the picture which was not possible with previous models. It can generate clear text within images, from short titles to long paragraphs, in multiple languages, making it ideal for posters, infographics, and social media visuals.
Google says Nano Banana Pro can maintain strong visual consistency, blending up to 14 images while keeping the appearance of up to five people unchanged. This makes it useful for product design, turning sketches into realistic visuals, or keeping a uniform style across multiple images.
