JioPC is a cloud-based platform that delivers full computing power, applications, and AI tools directly from Jio’s data centers. Users only need a Jio Set-Top Box (already included with JioFiber or AirFiber plans), a keyboard, mouse, and a screen. With a simple plug-and-play setup, JioPC instantly becomes a high-performing PC bypassing the ₹40,000-₹50,000 price tag of traditional computers.

JioPC introduces a pay-as-you-go model to Indian computing, with no lock-ins or hidden charges. The most affordable plan starts at ₹400/month, providing a virtual desktop experience with AI tools and productivity applications.

With TV penetration exceeding PC ownership in India, JioPC could rapidly bridge the country’s digital divide enabling affordable, high-end computing for millions of students, small businesses, and households. Early industry analysis suggests this could disrupt the traditional ₹15,000 crore PC market and boost digital inclusion, especially in rural and less affluent areas.

Jio has already hinted at future support for Linux and macOS-style virtual environments and plans to leverage its nationwide data center footprint to deliver sub-20ms latency cloud computing nationwide.
