After debuting in select global markets last month, Meta has now rolled out its next-generation AI model, Muse Spark, for users in India. Designed to power a smarter and more intuitive Meta AI experience, the advanced generative AI large language model replaces the older Llama-based system across the Meta AI app and website. Meta says Muse Spark is built to handle complex tasks more efficiently while delivering faster, more natural interactions for users.

As per Meta, Muse Spark is built to make conversations with Meta AI feel more natural and responsive while handling complex tasks with greater accuracy. Users can speak casually with human-like pauses, switch between multiple languages mid-conversation, and get quick updates on news, topics, or live cricket scores.

The AI model also enhances image generation and delivers smarter recommendations from Reels, maps, and other Meta services.

Key Features of Muse Spark

  • Natural voice conversations with multilingual support

  • Real-time answers using the new Live AI camera feature

  • Smarter image generation capabilities

  • Shopping integration with Facebook Marketplace and web listings

  • Expansion to Meta’s AI smart glasses ecosystem

Currently, Indian users can access only the voice interaction feature through the standalone Meta AI app, while Live AI and shopping tools are expected to roll out later this year. Meta also plans to integrate Muse Spark across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger soon.
