#MicromaxIsBack: Here's what you need to know about the new IN series

The Indian smartphone brand launched its IN series beginning from INR 6,999.

Making a comeback to the Indian market, Micromax IN took to the virtual space and launched two budget smartphones on Tuesday, noon. The 'IN' series, which emphasises its Indian make, welcomed two phones titled IN Note 1, and IN 1B -- mid-ranged smartphones that aim to take on rival brands such as Redmi and Realme. Both the phones, that are best suited for entry-level users, will be powered by MediaTek processors. While the IN Note 1 will feature the MediaTek G85, IN 1B will feature a more a friendly MediaTek G35 processor.

Micromax IN Note 1

Micromax IN Note 1 runs on an Android 10 OS. Assuring no bloatware for both its handsets, the company claims assures a clean user interface and two years of Android upgrades. Available in two colours: Green, with radiating 'X' at the back, and matte white.

Camera: Rear Quad camera 48MP+5MP+2MP+2M; 16 MP wide-angle selfie camera

Display: 6.67-inch 1080p LCD with a punch-hole setup

Price: INR 10,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB

INR 12,999 for 4GB RAM and 128GB

Micromax IN 1B:

Equipped with Android 10, the smartphone company assures two years of updates for the Micromax IN 1B. Available in three colours: green, purple and blue. All of which are available in a metallic, matte finish.

Battery: 5,000 mAh battery, USB Type-C fast charging

Camera: 13MP+ 5MP dual camera; 8MP selfie camera

Display: 6.5-inch Full HD+

Price: INR 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB

INR 7,999 for the 2 GB RAM and 64GB
