OnePlus has been rumoured to be gearing up for a new addition to its Ace series lineup in China, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. The device recently appeared on China’s MIIT certification platform, with multiple leaks already pointing to its key specifications.

Now, OnePlus has officially confirmed the Ace 6 Ultra, unveiling its design and highlighting major features ahead of launch. Alongside the smartphone, the company has also introduced a dedicated gaming controller, designed to enhance precision and deliver a more console-like mobile gaming experience.

OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 6 Ultra, a gaming-focused flagship, will launch in China on April 28 along with a dedicated gaming controller aimed at enhancing mobile gameplay.The phone and controller are designed as a combined system for shooter games, transforming the device into a console-like setup when attached, while functioning as a regular high-performance smartphone when used alone. It also features a 1000Hz polling rate for ultra-low latency and faster response times.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is expected to feature a Dimensity 9500 chip, a 6.83-inch 1.5K 165Hz OLED display, and an 8,600mAh battery for extended gaming sessions.

OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra: Design

OnePlus has showcased the Ace 6 Ultra on Weibo, revealing its new design ahead of launch. The device features glowing purple “Ace” branding on the rear, created using a 3D stereoscopic lithography process that produces a visible light-trail effect.

The phone also includes a metal cube camera module, a heat-insulating metal frame for thermal control, and an R-angle design for improved grip and ergonomics. Overall, the Ace 6 Ultra is seen in a dark grey finish with a compact rear camera island positioned at the top-left corner.

OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra: Features

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is confirmed to feature a 165Hz BOE-developed display for smoother gaming, along with the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset for high-end performance.

It is expected to pack a large 8,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, aimed at heavy users and extended gaming sessions, potentially lasting up to two days.

Positioned as a performance and gaming-focused device, the Ace 6 Ultra is designed for power users, with more details and an official launch date expected soon in China. OnePlus may also unveil a new gaming-oriented device alongside it, signalling a stronger push into gaming hardware.
