The anticipated Mercedes-Benz Wireless Headphone 2 has recently appeared online via a UAE certification listing, indicating a forthcoming launch. Mercedes-Benz is set to introduce its next wireless headphones featuring enhanced sound quality and sophisticated connectivity options.
The device, identified by the model number MB WHP 2, was found in the TDRA certification database. This listing confirms that the device supports Bluetooth connectivity, suggesting it could be the successor to the company's initial wireless headphones released in 2020.
Although the certification does not disclose the specifications of the headphones, it suggests that Mercedes-Benz is planning to update its high-end over-ear audio range with new features. The Headphones 2 are anticipated to be priced at approximately Rs. 35,000 in India.
The initial version of Mercedes-Benz Wireless Headphones showcased an over-ear style adorned with the brand's renowned three-pointed star emblem. This model merged Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology with a 3.5mm audio jack for wired connectivity.
It also featured a built-in microphone, touch controls for managing playback and calls, and 3D surround sound support. Offering up to 18 hours of battery life on one charge, it was designed for extended listening sessions for users who appreciated design and functionality driven by the brand.
The upcoming Wireless Headphone 2 is anticipated to enhance its existing features. According to market trends, the new model might feature upgraded audio drivers, active noise cancellation (ANC), and enhanced microphones for better voice clarity. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz could incorporate faster charging and an extended Bluetooth range to meet current industry standards.
Although the technical specifics are still undisclosed, the certification indicates that the new headphones might be officially revealed shortly. Upon release, the product is expected to rival top audio brands that provide high-end wireless listening experiences.
