Vodafone Idea is introducing an attractive offer for its customers, providing unlimited 5G data on various prepaid and postpaid plans starting at ₹299. This competitive pricing aims to enhance the mobile experience for users and attract new subscribers.

The company plans to invest between ₹50,000 to ₹55,000 crore over the next three years to expand its 4G network coverage to 90% of India while simultaneously rolling out 5G services in key regions.

Vi has partnered with Nokia for its 5G rollout, integrating the latest-generation equipment to ensure robust network performance. The deployment includes an AI-based Self-Organising Networks (SON) system to optimise network efficiency and enhance user experience.

Following the launch in Mumbai, Vodafone Idea plans to expand its 5G services to major cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Patna, and Mysuru by the end of April 2025. Following the announcement of its 5G services, Vodafone Idea's shares rose nearly 5%, reflecting positive investor sentiment regarding the company's growth prospects and strategic investments.

Vodafone Idea's launch of 5G services in Mumbai is a significant step towards enhancing mobile connectivity and competing effectively with other telecom giants like Airtel and Jio. With unlimited data offers and substantial investments in infrastructure, Vi aims to provide a superior experience for its customers while expanding its reach across India.
